Aerial Runways are very popular items and usually require safety surfacing other than grass at the landing end. It is recommended that a wear strip is installed along the path of the aerial runway otherwise the grass will quickly be eroded.

These cableways can be installed on flat areas when a mound or platform is built, or on a gently sloped area.
